A couple of weekends ago, Devin and I went for a walk at the Eagle River Nature Center, about 10 minutes from our house. We had a great time outsdoors. It seems much of our time lately is spent indoors, so it was nice to get a big breath of fresh air. I couldn't help but snap a picture of every mountain and every tree I saw. It was such a beautiful landscape, and I did my best to capture it. Although, pictures never seem to do it justice! Devin at one point wanted to take a closer look at the river, so as veered off trail, we found ourselves walking through 5 feet of snow! We couldn't help but laugh, as every other step I nearly fell over. Halfway to the river, we decided to turn around. Luckily, as we kept walking we came upon a little dock area where we got to see the water up close. It was a great day. It made me really want to pursue cross country skiing or skate skiing, because we saw so many people passing through doing it, and it looked like so much fun! Maybe soon. Oh by the way, in the past two days, we've gotten about 15 inches of snow! and yes, we still love it!
